Ammonite Press publishes illustrated reference, guide and gift books that bring the worlds of photography, history and pop culture into sharper focus. We aim to inform, inspire and entertain by keeping exceptional images at the heart of our books.
On the 2017 gift list, our flagship Biographic series continues to grow, presenting graphic guides to iconic lives including Degas and Klimt, Dior and Coco, Austen and Shakespeare. Elsewhere, we voyage to imaginary places populated by typographic creatures, monsters experiencing domestic difficulties, and a mythical beast acting as an irreverent guide to self-improvement. In photography, drones help us to scale new heights while masters of their art reveal the secrets of capturing perfect landscapes. We also present the stunning collections of two prestigious photography competitions.
